Weft Precision

Seen here is a bunch of bobbins wound for our gingham check fabric. The quality of bobbin winding can greatly impact the movement of the shuttle.
Once the bobbins are prepared, they are loaded into the shuttle. As the shuttle moves back and forth across the loom, it carries the bobbin and weft thread through the warp threads, allowing the weft to interlace with the warp and create fabric.
