Kadambari
Kadambari winds bobbins for both our silk and cotton production
from the comfort of her mud house. In weaving, bobbin winding is an essential process that prepares the
weft threads for use in the loom. The weft, or filling thread, is the yarn
that is woven horizontally through the warp threads on the loom.
Bobbin winding involves winding the weft thread onto bobbins, which
are small cylindrical spools that can be easily inserted into the shuttle
for weaving.
